Viswaroopam 2 is sequel of its first part VR. The film has crossed Bahubali and became sixth on the chart in Chennai. The film has not got good collection in two telugu regional states. The film has just collected 1.50 crore of distributor share which is poor for National award winner. 

The film has collected majorly in Nizam with 0.63 crore and 0.12 crore in Guntur, Krishna districts. Finally overall collection of movie is 1.58 crore in both telugu states. The movie was produced and directed by Kamal Hasan. The actors Pooja and Andrea has shared screen as female leads.
