VR-2 day 1 collections
Kamal Haasan’s film Viswaroopam 2 has come in front of
audience on yesterday. This movie is sequel to first part Viswaroopam which was
released five years ago. The movie was
released in two regional languages Tamil and Telugu.
The VR-2 came with high expectations but received average
reviews from critics. The audience felt first half was nice and second half was
not interested. Now coming to film boxoffice collection it has opened with good
note by 93 lakhs in Tamilnadu’s capital Chennai and overtakes record of
Bahubali-The conclusion’s 92 lakhs in Telugu and Tamil languages.
The film stands at 6th position after Kaala(1.75
cr) at top and followed by Mersal(1.52
cr), Vivegam(1.21 cr), kabali(1.12 cr) and Theri(1.05 cr). Viswaroopam 2 was
got collection at Australia and US boxoffice with $18,454 and $175k gross
respectively. The movie was acted and directed by Kamal Haasan which also stars
Andrea and Pooja.
